In certain countries today, the practice and study of Buddhism is threatened by political, economic, and social challenges. Yet even in the most difficult circumstances, there are still immense opportunities for the revitalization of Buddhist traditions, due to growing interest among the younger generations.

The Foundation is exploring opportunities to support Dharma study and practice in countries such as India, China, Bhutan, Mongolia, and Cambodia, where there is an evident yearning for Buddhist teachings and a desire to revive traditional forms of Buddhism.
