Who We Support: Scholarships, Awards, and Individual Grants

Sep 30th, 2014

The first KF scholarships were awarded in 2003 and the first KF Award for Excellence in Buddhist studies was given in 2009. Many of the recipients have gone on to receive master’s degrees or doctorates and many are teaching or studying various Buddhist traditions all over the world, from Bangladesh to Brisbane to Berlin, from Rio to Taipei, from Pennsylvania to Pune. Here are photos and updates on a few of the people you have helped us support over the years.

Greetings, Aloha, Any fabric is only as worthy and precious as the one(s)

weaving the threads……I so support and honor the noble motivation of the

Khyentse Foundation and its root – heritage, and have full faith in the

genuine aspirations and outcome, based in the fullness of

what it is to be human and addressing those needs in the

most effective, relevant, vast and profound way

possible, and even the seemingly impossible,

in loving devotion, me ke aloha, Leonora / LeahVAni
